During the process, the water descends vertically to the base of the tower, while air is inducted crosswise to maximize cooling. This air extracts heat from the water, returning it to the system as chilled water ready for reuse in industrial or comfort processes.
What are modular cooling towers used for?
Modular cooling towers are used to reject heat to the environment and reduce process water temperatures to near the wet bulb temperature of the air. Their primary function is to transfer heat from a hot water stream to the air circulating within the system, facilitating an efficient cooling process in industrial, HVAC, and air conditioning applications.
